Weekly downloads showed a peak of approximately 263K in mid-May and then gradually decreased to around 137K by the end of June. Active users remained robust, fluctuating around 40M throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in the middle of June to about 38.2M, before rising again to nearly 38.9M.
WhatsApp Business, another offering from WhatsApp LLC, also performed well. Weekly downloads peaked at around 149K in the first week of June and ended the quarter at about 121K. The app’s active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.8M to 1.9M throughout the quarter.
Snapchat, developed by Snap Inc, exhibited notable activity. The app's weekly downloads varied, peaking at 92K in early May and ending June with around 80K. Active users saw a consistent rise, starting at approximately 2.4M at the end of March and reaching around 2.7M by the end of June. The app also generated modest revenue, peaking at $27 in late April.
Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 66K by the end of June. Active users demonstrated fluctuations, starting the quarter with about 5M and ending with around 4.8M. The app also saw a minor revenue spike of $63 in mid-June.
Opera Mini: Fast Web Browser, created by Opera, had a consistent performance. Weekly downloads rose steadily, peaking at about 57K at the end of June. Active users increased from approximately 1.2M at the end of March to about 1.4M by the end of June.
